Job Description:
  • Our insurance agency is an independent insurance agency looking for an experienced salesperson to join our team... This position will assist in promoting the growth of the agency. The role will focus on developing organic new business through leads/referral sources. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Successfully develop sales and marketing strategies with prospects to grow organically.
  • Advise clients on new and or additional insurance needs while explaining coverage.
  • Administrative, agency system upkeep tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical and problem-solving skills.
 
Qualifications:
  • Insurance: No Experience Necessary
  • Sales: Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • High level of initiative and able to work well in a team environment
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent, and skilled negotiator
  • Strong technical capacity with knowledge of Microsoft Office software products
  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
